Mineral Water vs. Still Water
Is there really a difference and should we be choosing one or the other from time-to-time if not most frequently?
Yes. Mineral water does indeed have incredible health benefits.
To keep this blog simple and summarize why mineral water can be key for your body, first let me explain that our bodies are forever going through reactions.
Our bodies are processing things like food, our state of health, physiological standing (mind/body connection) and so on. Our body, brain function (& the two connected) need enzymes to occur and those enzymes need nutrients -like minerals- to make us all well-oiled machines!
What is mineral water?
“According to the FDA, mineral water must come from a natural, protected, underground source. In order to qualify, it has to deliver minerals and trace elements- naturally. Mineral water may be still or sparkling; it’s key differentiator from other waters is that the minerals found inside can’t be added.”

POINT- minerals are a massive puzzle piece to keep us all up and running! We are currently experiencing mineral deficiencies (due to over nutrition with sugars and processed foods & undernutrition of essential nutrients). When our bodies have mineral deficiencies this can possibly lead to major health issues.
Food is forever changing and evolving. The industries that push high market, big labeled foods are no longer interested in what’s in their ingredients. We are getting less minerals in our foods than we used to due to the overwhelming amounts of chemicals in replacement.
Mineral water can provide calcium and magnesium - these keep our bodies strong, help with blood pressure, work with our blood sugar levels and much more!
“An estimated 1 in 3 Americans is deficient in key minerals and I’ve seen some incredible improvements in my patients when I identify and treat a mineral deficiency.”
-Dr. Hyman, American physician and author
